Financial Analyst

Department of Water and Power Financial Analyst ($6,436.24 7,823.29) per month plus comprehensive benefits package. This exempt position performs a variety of activities in the planning, administering, and overseeing complex financial analysis; responsible for project costs; capital assets management; grant management and required reporting; bank reconciliations; complex financial analysis; federal single audit reporting; compiles an analyzes complex data; prepares variance reporting; oversees contract compliance and legal reporting requirements; prepares and transfers payroll data; maintenance and reconciliation of project accounting; financial reporting; and performs other related work as assigned. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Two to five years of related experience is required. Candidates must be 18 or older, possess a driver license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
